The Battle Royale for Slam Poetry Supremacy for All Eternity!

You are invited to judge the Slam to end all Slams! The great poets of history are angry that "..those upstarts in Chicago..." are getting all the attention just because they are "alive!" They announced at a recent press converence they're coming back to life to take Chicago's finest performance poets down in a slam for the ages! A visibly shaken Walt Whitman taunted, "Bring it losers!" Don't miss this chance to cast your vote for, "Dead or Alive!"

In Any Tongue

Sprechen sie Deutsch? If you speak German don't miss this celebration of Germany's impressive and inspiring slam poetry movement. You don't speak German? Even better! You'll witness how universal Slam Poetry is In Any Tongue. Germany's best slammers will collaborate with Chicago's Speak Easy Ensemble to translate, interpret, and choreograph each other's work building a stunning tableau of verse presnted simultaneously in English and German. This new style of performance will leave you speechless!
